Now that a substantial number of federal employees telework, this doesn't pose as big a problem as it used to. When 80% of your staff can work from home at a moment's notice - it's not like the old days where you DID seriously lose a day's work.
When I first started working for the government, federal closings were extremely rare.

That said, it is much worse up near DC and power outages are much more frequent.

I work in Alexandria and it's bad up here. Traffic lights are out on major roads too.

I've got three people in my office at present and no more likely.

Down side is the coffee place is closed too! :banghead:
