I have never watched any of the awards shows but I'd think people figured there was no way the celebrities could keep politics out of the speeches/show so they tuned out from the start.

well, we learned one thing or two...Jimmy Kimmel loves the emmy statue with no penis, and he really wishes he was a woman...kind of like Bradley Manning.

What doesn't surprise me is my liberal friends don't believe a word of it - after all, ALL of their friends watched it.

This was of course, reported by such conservative sources like the New York Times and Time magazine.
