Trump is hated personally, he is attacked personally , and much of his agenda works, but they hate him anyway.
That's because they're fascists and they don't think his agenda "works". If you are a globalist who doesn't want the US to be a dominant world leader, you aren't going to want Trump to succeed. If you're a Socialist who thinks everyone except the very rich and powerful should live in government housing and eat government provided rations, you aren't going to like Trump. If you are a fundamentalist religious zealot who thinks everyone in the world should worship your god and your god alone, Trump is going to piss you off. If you're an anarchist who hasn't outgrown your immature rebellious stage, or because you have no respect for others, you're not going to like Trump.
There are a number of reasons why someone would want Trump to fail besides that they're a cult member who has been programmed to blindly hate all Republicans.
Me, I'm all about USA. This is a great country and a successful country, and I don't want that to change. Immigrants risk their lives and the lives of their children to come here because we're awesome. America has always been the success model for the world but there are a lot of people who've been brainwashed to hate that and want to destroy it. That has nothing to do with Trump; they've been like that since the 60s when their Soviet college professors put that crap in their heads.
