In the "Are you f*ing kidding me!?" department, we have this (H/t to Rush)

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...slams-trump-and-backs-illegal-immigrants.html

A presidential candidate was barnstorming across Los Angeles over the weekend, reaching out to Mexican migrants, blasting President Trump and calling for protection for illegal immigrants.

The twist: he is running for president of Mexico.

According to Mexican newspaper Excelsior, Ricardo Anaya Cortes met with businessmen and activists in Los Angeles -- which has a large Hispanic population.

Among those he met with was Obama-era Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano, now the president of the University of California.

Arrest him and deport him NOW!

How is this even allowed; a candidate from another country campaigning in our country, and bashing our prez? Why doesn’t CA become part of Mexico? The wall, then, can be extended up the east side of CA. Done!

And, what’s up with the voting? Will some be participating in voting in both countries?

Pretty sure some will be voting in both countries.
I know the liberals will not agree with me , but it's a pretty sad state of affairs when we have so many illegals in this country that a person running for President of Mexico campaigns in California. He will probably go to Arizona next

I would hazard a guess that you were quite pleased when Benjamin Netanyahu did the same thing in 2005...at the invitation of the Speaker of the House.

in March 2015, Benjamin Netanyahu was days ahead of being elected for office in Israel when he came to the U.S. to address Congress. He was there at the invitation of then-Speaker of the House John Boehner, and at the time, Netanyahu’s visit was criticized as a breach of protocol because Boehner had circumvented the White House and the Obama administration.

Then-President Barack Obama did not meet with Netanyahu at the time “as a matter of long-standing practice and principle” for heads of state to see each other in close proximity to their elections, so as to avoid the appearance of influencing an election, then-National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan said.

And here is the transcript of Netanyahu's speech: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...me-minister-netanyahu-speech-to-congress.html (note this is the actual link...not some BS Bing search)

What is your point? The past is the past, and all. I live in the present, and am interested about current events, and what happens. And, thanks for not calling me names. A step in the ‘right’ direction.

Wait, Netanyahu came over here to campaign to Israelis living in the US and criticize our President in our own country?

Or are you just making another false equivalency?

If you're not smart enough to know the difference between a state visit and stumping for votes in another country, I can't help you. None of us can help you.

It's okay, sweetie, we still love you just the way you are; you're just special is all.
