...despite the deepest wishes of the ignorati there are bad things that happen no matter what party is in charge, no matter how low you cut taxes, no matter how high you boost spending, or how many regulations you cut...

the folks at Carrier can attest to this so can the 30,000 or so Toys R Us employees...

today we add 800 Caterpillar employees to the list of people who simply don't exist according to the current far right mantra...

Separately, Caterpillar’s Progress Rail unit is contemplating the closure of its engine manufacturing facility in LaGrange, Illinois, shifting the work to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and outside suppliers.

hmm ...
.... Moving from Democrat run High Tax Illinois to Lower Tax South Carolina

I remember throughout the whole Obama administration when growth was the worst it had been for any recovery in history that we should be happy for the minimal improvements because at least they were improvements.

This seems like a case of "what would have happened anyway" from the problems of the past. In other words, like Obama's syncophants wanted us to find good in bad, Trump's detractors want us to find bad in normal.

Bad situations caused bad things. Those situations could be poor corporate decisions or unfavorable government regulations. Sometimes, you can't stop the car fast enough before it goes over the cliff.

This is also very much like saying you can't buy happiness with money. No, but you can't buy it with poverty, either. You can't fix all companies immediately by cutting taxes, cutting regulations, and improving people's freedoms and liberties. Just because you can't fix everything doesn't mean you shouldn't fix some things.

BTW, Trans, you have repeatedly suggested that cutting taxes increased the deficit. Did you ever come up with your suggestions on how you would cut spending to accomodate the lower taxes?

Of course not. It is easier to point and criticize than it is to think and provide solutions.

Am I to understand that the company has finally "emerged from the longest downturn in its history", shares are UP - so it's taking this opportunity to restructure?

So - after wallowing for four years under Obama, it's finally recovering and deciding to shift gears?

What are you trying to say?

She never knows what she's trying to say...she just reads the lines that are handed to her.

... the ignorati ...

It's amusing that you keep throwing that out there, when it's been proven time and again that you are one of the most stunningly ignorant posters that ever graced this forum.

But please..carry on. The amusement is worth it.
