Not holding someone accountable for their actions because of their race IS racist. It's also harmful to the "protected" race in question because they don't learn consequences or how to behave in civilized society.

If you ever wonder why black men fill our prisons and black kids can't seem to achieve in school, these racist policies would be the first thing I'd look at.

Wasn't this the reasoning for the light treatment of Nikolas Cruz, before he cut loose?

The biggest single reason for why this is stupid is highlighted in the article - going easy on minority students for behavior that would get any other student suspended or expelled puts the other kids in danger - and most of those kids WILL be other minority students.

To "protect" a few minority kids who need serious action - they endanger all of the others.
