Interesting study; assumes parity in jobs per KwH with the European offshore wind operations.

In European Union countries, the manufacture, installation, and maintenance of offshore wind facilities supported about 75,000 full-time-equivalent workers in 2014 when development achieved the level currently targeted by states including New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.

However, it is also true in Europe that there have been a lot of layoffs in the equipment manufacturing side as the regional market approaches saturation as far as the total extent of offshore wind installations to be built. The "boom" is over, over there, and the jobs that remain - still very many - are in O&M activities. Fortunately for my company..we're entirely focused on the O & M side.

More jobs are always good...do you know what the term "full time equivalent" means? Doesn't seem so based on your post.

Also...thank god YOU are on the O&M side...because as you have stated many times...nothing else matters besides YOU.
