Religious abiders vs. avoiders: The GPA Gap

Interesting study.

BLUF: The stronger one abides by their religion, the higher the GPA in school.

The outlier is atheists. They perform the same (more or less) as the people who strongly abide in their religion (why, it's almost as if having faith in the unproveable-ness of nothing is the same as having faith in the unproveable-ness of something).

Home schoolers do very well overall. Most of those are faith based. It doesn't take a village. Just interested, participating parents in both home and public schools.

I certainly have to agree that parental involvement SEEMS TO BE the key to the success of children. Not government involvement, or village involvement, or even teacher involvement. The parents are the key.
