Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., condemned the Democratic National Committee's new lawsuit against the Trump campaign, Russia, and WikiLeaks as being a scheme to fill their coffers.

"This is nothing more than a scam to keep their base fired up," Nunes, who is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said during an interview Saturday with Fox News' Judge Jeanine Pirro.

Referring to the DNC's fundraising shortcomings that have stretched into 2018, Nunes said the lawsuit is a "fundraising scheme."
