Although it is too early to give a definitive answer, the ingredients will be in place of an East Coast Storm late Sunday into Monday. A strengthening jet stream will transport very cold air from central Canada well south. Meanwhile, a storm will form off the southeast coast Sunday night. There is uncertainty pertaining to the exact track of this storm. The jet stream will either guide the storm northward along the East coast producing snow and wind, or out to sea with little or no effect on the Eastern Seaboard. No matter the scenario, much of the East can expect to be cold next week.

I have Barney purple snow boots, and I haven't bothered getting a new pair because we really don't see much snow here. I am thinking this winter will be different.

He also predicted the path of that hurricane that looped around and came back to hit Florida...crap..can't remember the name of it. He has been predicting a white Christmas for about a month..saying that it may not snow actually ON Chrismas but there will be snow on the ground.

Remember, AWD is only as good as the traction your tires provide. I almost learned the hard way that AWD doesn't make a person invincible in the snow and ice on a set of crappy all season tires. Now with a set of dedicated snow and ice tires you will totally kick butt in the snow.
