We're certainly going to see this differently. I'm not going to go through the litany of things Obama has done and said - things you know - that show how radical he is. We probably have a different view on what defines radical.

That's right. I've been away all day and haven't posted to this. I am going to post what I posted on my FB page today. I'm pissed.
This hits me personally. Without giving specifics, my developmentally disabled son takes public transportation to his job. There are blocks of time when he is walking to or waiting for the bus. He also rides the bus unassisted. In THIS county, I know he has been "looked after" by those who either drive those buses or some of those who utilize public transportation. There are some safeguards in place, like his employer would call if he didn't show up. He checks in as soon as he is home - so I would know if he is not there in the afternoon, etc.
However, this is the kind of thing that sits at the back of my mind and gives me nightmares when I dwell on it. I have to let him access the community as he is able to do, because it is essential to his well-being and independence. He has the right to be as independent as he can be. Just like you and me. Like I said, we have plans in place to help him in case of emergencies, but what if someone were to ambush him as he is making his way to or from his destinations? I can only HOPE and pray that he would be able to make a valiant effort to defend himself and fight back. But then, at what cost?
How dare these people take advantage of a person in their community who is one of their most vulnerable?!! I'm not even rational about this, and I can't even repeat the kind of punishment I think would be appropriate for these animals. Death isn't even really good enough.

Yeah, good old Chicago-worse than a war zone. Mr. Rahm Emmanuel needs to get his city under control. Maybe his THUGS and criminals need a dose of their own medicine. Maybe the National Guard needs to be called in and go full Kent State on their asses. Or how about a battalion of US Marines? I wonder what kind of THUGS they'd be then?? Where's our POTUS coming out to condemn this? I won't hold my breath.

so, some politicians, activists, news reporters seem to think this is clearly NOT a hate crime....Even the president himself only limited the terminology of the horrific crimes as deplorable ONLY..
So, lets say on some section 8 housing community some shaved head white boys capture a semi retarded black man, burn him with cigarettes, call him the "N" name and gave him a Redskins jersey after slicing his arm....would that be a hate crime???? would there be rioting in all 50 states??? would the usual suspects, Jessie, Al Maxine be yelling 24/7??? hellfire, they'd be indicted by the FBI in a new york minute...

The worst part is Lemon's suggestion that what Jordan Hill, Tesfaye Cooper, Brittany Covington, and Tanishia Covington did wasn't evil. They took a mentally challenged boy, bound him, gagged him, beat him, cut him, shoved his head into a toilet, and threatened his life--all the while, they laughed like they were at a party. If that isn't evil, what is? If that's simply "bad home training," what is evil?

We cannot argue that this is a black thing, because there are many blacks who would be and are sickened by this.
About the best we can do is try to keep the low life's to a minimum, but what we should not do is try to excuse them by saying they had bad upbringing or they came up in a bad environment. We should not punish them lightly because of our own humanity nor not prosecute them because so large a percentage of their race is already in the jails. These kids need hard time and plenty of it. Not sympathy. Sure we can put them in a easy going prison for 6 months and feed them large doses of pap telling them how wrong they were. But when they come out they are still the same POS that went in.

It will be interesting to see what kind of punishment is handed down. I remember being disappointed in the punishment for the two local girls that beat & raped as well as taped that mentally slow kid a couple years ago. They were basically slapped on the hand for such a heinous crime.
Pretty much. But then again, they were Caucasian. Let's see how this one plays out.

According to court documents, Mejia's mother said he left New Jersey on Oct. 15 to travel to Maryland to meet a girl. She reported him missing three days later because she had not heard from him.
After Mejia's disappearance, his family found conversations he had on Facebook with someone who identified herself as "Shaila Smith." Police say it appears Smith was the girl he went to see in Maryland.
In one message, Smith gave Mejia a phone number to call for someone that would take him to her. Police also listened to several voice messages Smith left on Mejia's Facebook account, court documents said.

On a related note, do you all realize how many crimes like these are committed every. single. day? In NYC alone, there are usually several of them on any given day. Not sure how the national bots choose which one to focus on, but they are a bunch of lemmings playing follow the leader. Every single day in this country, something vicious and violent happens; something crazy happens. We just don't hear about it because the newsbots all decided that (x) was the outrage du jour.
