4 year old cat

I have a male cat that is about 4 years old. He is a great cat. He goes outside alot...He does what he wants, he's the king. He also uses the toitet to pee. Lately I have noticed what looks like blood in the toilet. He dosen't have any other symptoms that I know of. Should I take him to the vet? Could this be something serious?

Probably at UTI. Definately call the vet.

Yes, take him to the vet. Blood in urine is not normal. He probably has a UTI.

It could also be blood in the stool! My cat just had a bacterial infection and was bleeding from his butt. The vet took a stool sample and in a few moments we had the answer. My cat also had nasty diarrhea that stank like death. He could also have a parasitic infestation too. Take him to the vet ASAP!
