I’m old enough to remember mighty Mo, Craigers, keystones and certainly Marboro’s wrapped in a sleeve.
But I don’t know nothing about Betty Boop stickers or straight eights.
Pretty sure they aren't going to be doing much hopping.screw the 80s - I'm going to a 50s sock hop next weekend for a relative that is turning 80 and I don't have a thing to wear or drive! Can I borrow your '53 Buick Greg?
It might be a compression-sock hop.Pretty sure they aren't going to be doing much hopping.
Hold my Bud Light - I got this!I have to teach you a thing or two first....
1) the shift indicator is messed up. Normally, its PRNDL. But Buick has that pre slip & slide, so the transmission is PNRD, OD. The super Deluxe brake pedal rusted off, so a friend of mine welder a Yugo brake pedal on that is too little and sits too high. Its almost under the dashboard. The power brake booster is a jury rigged 12 volt compressor directly wired to the 12 volt battrey in the back seat. Remember 53 still had a 6 volt system...
2) the safety toggle switch is fried... so sometimes it starts, others..... no
3) do you have vise grips??? The negative battrey cable melted somehow, so I have my harbor freight vise grips holding the cable on. I need my vise grips to flush my commode....
I bet you remember fuzzy dice & curb feelers.Damn.

There was a very large Amazon order for pogo stix going to TPDs zip code. Coincidence? It might be a compression-sock hop.
You told me you use them to change the channel on your old school b&w TV.I need my vise grips to flush my commode....
I remember the fuzzy nice from “Happy Days.”I bet you remember fuzzy dice & curb feelers.
I would have paid to see thatKyle, I had a Dodge "pilot house" pick up once. It had "Mexican reverse" wheels with porta-walls. Well, after scrubbing the curbs too many times, one of the porta walls broke as I was driving down Chillum Road...well, it was a turbulent time with severe racial strife and I wasnt about to stop in the ghettohood, so I sped up... flapflapflapflap was the sound on the r/f wheel. The hoodrats started laughing and I was not gonna stop..... as I drove faster, one of the hunks of the porta wall flew off and hit this bigazz dude in the head!!!!! Then, the tire blew!!! I wasn't stopping.... Sparks flying all over the wheel split...... I made it to Adelphi... So, from that day on, curb feelers.
So were you flapflapflapping or FapFapFapping?so I sped up... flapflapflapflap was the sound on the r/f wheel.
Sounds like a cool carI have to teach you a thing or two first....
