I listened to it on the radio live because it was tape delayed by ABC (I think it was ABC) until later that evening. The game started at 1700 eastern, and I was about five minutes late reporting for work at 1930 listening to the end of the game. My wife taped it for me, and it was well worth watching when I got home about 0500 the next morning.

I remember that being a cold winter in the north east. I got to see the Olympic flame as it passed along on route 9 on it's way to Lake Placid.

You know what KILLS me, to this day? I was attending RPI - in Troy - when this was going on. I'm not a hockey fan by any means, but hockey to most RPI students is like football to Green Bay.

It would have been a two hour drive - and tons of RPI students were there.

I - should - have - gone.
