When I took the Santa Fe for a test run, I drove it to Lowes so hubz could run in and grab something. While he was inside, I stood outside the car reading the paper thingie on the windshield....decided to check my phone since I had set my purse behind my seat. I saw that I had a missed call, didn't recognize the number, so I quick called it back, thinking it may have been the sales person from the dealership. At first I heard noise in the background, said hello again, and waited a couple of seconds. I know sometimes people have a lot going on and don't speak to the person they're calling right away. Rude, poor form, yes. But it happens. Anyway, while I'm waiting and listening I realize it sounds like someone doing the deed, hot and heavy. Then I realized it WAS someone doing the deed! Good grief. So, I hang up the phone and take a closer look at the number, and below the number it says "Grenada".

So, called Verizon. They said if anything shows up on the bill they'll remove.

Don't answer if someone calls from that number, and don't call back. Dur.

I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize. If its legit, they will leave a message. 9 times out of 10, there is no message.

I typically pay closer attention, but I thought it was the dealership, because he did ask for my number before I drove off, and I was parked in the parking lot reading the sticker. I didn't know if I was taking too long for him, or not.

When mom test drove her new car, they told her to have it back in 3 hours.

A few weeks ago when I was browsing vehicles, the dealership told me to keep it for the weekend. I declined of course but it sure was tempting.

Hmmm...wonder if they'd mind if I took a little road trip. Did they say how far you could drive?

Nope, just that I could take it for the weekend. I was "deciding" between 2 vehicles (2 different manufacturers) and they were *sure* I'd pick their model after the weekend test drive.

I still haven't bought a vehicle.

I really need to make a decision and get my ass in gear.

Don't do anything now. Wait until 2014 -- that "new" car will be a "year" old and you have better negotiating room. Unless of course the dealership wants to make a phenomenal deal by tomorrow.

I'm not going to make a decision that soon.
