Only laughing because I've done the same thing. First a glass of water, then a diet coke, then the cat's bowl. It recovered each time. Take the battery off and let it dry out.

I just hope it dries out. I like this cell phone and I really don't want to have to buy a new one right now.

I've lost 2 cell phones to water damage. The first was dunked in the toilet, and the LCD screen got screwed up (not like I was going to be putting it to my ear again anyways), the second somehow got soaked while it was in my bag at a "pool shindig", and would never turn back on....if you don't already have it, phone insurance is your friend.
