Very heartwarming gesture, but they need to come up with an alternative eating platform so every homeless dog doesn't' get parvo, parasites and kennel cough along with their meal.

Must be designed by a government bureaucrat. Glass jars should be closer to to bottom to reduce breakage during dispensing.

I took a class at IBM in Chicago in the early 80s, they had a subsidized cafeteria that had a beer vending machine.
When I was much younger, there was a privately owned and stocked beer machine outside of a local "fish house". The 7D was a very interesting place to grow up.

Turks are almost fanatic about how well they take of street dogs and cats.
This is Tombili, a famous street cat of Istanbul.
When he died, the shop owners on the street commissioned a statue of him.

Coolest vending machine I ever saw (literally) had a chest freezer inside holding different kinds of ice cream novelties. You put money in and the machine opened the lid, a vacuum hose almost like a shop vac went down into the proper compartment and applied suction, lifted the ice cream out, moved over and dropped the ice cream and then closed the freezer lid. I think it was at MCAS New River in one of the hangars, I paid $3 for a choco taco just to see it work.

The richest person that I personally know has a vending machine route, not even good ones, the shitty lance vending machines that have less than 10 items in them. He looks unassuming wears what looks like a work uniform, drives a small pickup truck and after two to three hours of work a day returns to his 6500 sq ft house on the golf course at the local county club and hits the links.
