Cool. I was watching some video of the astronaut's space walk yesterday and it was very neat.

Most other forms of human endeavor seem to pale by comparison, in my view.

I think it's awesome and I'm glad they got the fix done. Not to take anything away from all the effort put into this, but I think only time will tell if it was really a worthwhile endeavor. Will it actually benifit the country in relation to the money poured into it? Compare it to the transcontinental railroad or the first powered flight. Those projects really paid off. If this leads humanity to the planets and beyond then maybe it'll be worth it. Right now its just good TV.
