Sweet girl looking for a home

Just got this e-mail.


Lynne just met a very friendly 6 month old female mix in cage #24 @ Tri-County. She is creamy white with a light brown patch over one eye. Very gentle.

An ACO Officer labeled her a pit mix, but Lynne doesn’t think she is. But the papers can’t be changed, so we all know what that means.

Does anyone have any space??? Lynne is sure she is an easy adopt. Her name is on her and can be picked up today, tomorrow or Sunday. Rose @ TCS said if we set a time on Sunday, she will have someone let us in.

By the way, we have the three six month old Corsos who were at the shelter with us now. They are doing great and seem to be taking to socializing quite well. It was pathetic to see them when we picked them up, they were so scared and confused. Now they're hopping around, licking faces and wagging tails. Two are up for adoption (male and female)! One has already been adopted.

As soon as we get our yard fenced in I would love to adopt a small dog to go with my 5lb one I have already. With the kid keeping me busy I need a friend for my dog to keep her busy.

I can't believe someone labeled her as a pit mix. She definately looks like a terrier. From the spots on her skin on her legs, etc. I would even guess that there's a little blue tick hound in her too.

We have them at our farm, but the males have already been spoken for and the female is going to require more one on one time before she is ready. We will post pictures when she is ready.
