66 animals and a double-wide

Holy shnikees!

Authorities removed 53 dogs and 13 cats from a double-wide mobile home... The owners, who were not identified, told police their animals kept breeding, and the situation spun out of control.

~20 miles SSW of Grand Rapids, MI. I don't understand why, if they could not afford to spay/neuter the animals, they would not at least give away all the males or all the females. At least that would have halted the breeding, even though the place would still be nasty.

Dogs and Cats are too common though... I'm gonna have Wallabies and Platypuses.
