Just curious, is OB a mixture of spices? Herbs?
Thanks. Haven't looked it up myself and use a lot of the above separately but it seems like a lot together.AI says:
- Spices (Paprika, Mustard Flour, Celery Seed, Black Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Cloves, Coriander Seed, Nutmeg, Allspice)
- Salt
- Sugar
- Herbs (Bay Leaves, Thyme, Basil, Rosemary, Savory)
- Anti-Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide)
Mmm, that looks yummy!I also put OB in crab soup..

Same, I was born in KS and cut my teeth on my family's beef, was mostly raised around here, but not FROM here enough. I do like OB, crabs NO.Not being raised here, I never had any exposure to OB nor had I ever eaten crabs. I'm not sure I particularly like either one.
We had gotten some brisket and french fries from the Grille Sgt and the brisket was just ok but the fries were overloaded with OB. I threw them away.
I first had crab at the original Lighthouse. It was good. I have tried crab balls /dip (when other people ordered them) and they were just ok. Not something I would order. And seeing it's eyes and smashing it's body to pick the meat that's a hard NO.Same, I was born in KS and cut my teeth on my family's beef, was mostly raised around here, but not FROM here enough.
