I have a 9 month old lab/sheperd mix...he is a good dog...but he does need room to run..I thought that he would do ok like my older dog had always been, just with walking..but he needs a yard to run in..He has been taken for training and he has a chip inplant..he is crate trained...good with cats and children..He loves attention..He does need some time with the walking he still likes to pull tell he finds that perfect spot...He is about 55 lbs..he is a well loved dog..

Wow, sounds like they're giving up the perfect dog that they love very much. Its a shame they don't pay a neighborhood kid to walk him a couple times a wk, or make the effort themselves. A good brisk 15-45 minute walk would get some energy out...even a 15 minute walk a couple times a day, or let him run at the dog park...Hope they are able to find him a good home.
