97.7 - Mojo is leaving.....

It really sucks that Mojo wasn't able to stay with 97.7... But def understand with the family situation... However what they should have done was bring that guy CJ on as the Morning Guy... He was kicka** and def would have rocked 97.7.
Word in St.Marys already is that the new guy is a huge jackass... And I agree I got the impression that he was trying to be a lil like Mojo....
Hope that doesn't keep up.

I found Mojo, as a DJ, to be boring, repetitive, whiny and a big yawn. So much so I refused to listen to the station. It doesn't mean he was a bad person but IMO he was the suckiest DJ ever on a so. md. radio station. I was enjoying the no DJ thing but will give this guy a chance. Any DJ is better than Mojo and I can always change the station again if he turns out sucky.

I'm Glad Mojo is leaving. I think his radio show stinks and I also think that he is a dope.

Wow - they didn't mess around getting a new DJ, did they? I was expecting it to be weeks without another DJ. I can't stand radio with no DJ. I like to listen to something with any kind of personality.

He had his moments. He's got the Shcott-Shannon DJ voice down pat. I don't like that he plays music in the background when he talks, but other than that he seems ok. It doesn't sound like he's going to be doing much joking or kidding around though. I like morning chuckles, but hey - it's his first day. I'm willing to give him a shot.

I do like the no request rule. :yay:

He got a little better today. Yesterday was God-awful, but it was his first day in a new job. Still wasn't that great this morning, but if he keeps improving he should be ok.

Yea and his phone calls are LONGGG. I felt sorry for that dude that called this morning. Just sitting theree on the line listening to him rant about anything and everything.

But yes overall better than yesterday. Like I said ill wait about a week or so then decide.

I listened to him for a few minutes on Friday and just so happened to hear him say that his voice was not a fake DJ voice, but the way he talks all the time. Don't know him personally, so just have to take his word for it. I then listened to him explain to a caller why he plays music while he's talking and he said he plays music as an intro to his next topic. I'll give him some more time. He's new, he deserves a chance.

I liked Mojo and I'm sad that he's gone. :frown:
