Army combat Vet at work says the only thing better than to see the A-10 overhead was hearing the BRRRRT.

Yeppers...we've been saying the same thing only to the Marine Corps only; not the Army. The Army a) doesn't play well with others, and b) is overly proud of the airframes they already have. Let the Air Force be the organic depot, if need be, but let it be a Marine platform.
