A complete disregard for others

It doesn't really matter if citizen Donald Trump or the freakish anti-science morons of the far right don't protect themselves. Maybe they think their guns will protect them from the disease? Maybe they think God will put a magical cone of invincibility around them? Maybe they are just stupid.

If they get sick, the rest of us will be given the bill for their stupidity and ignorance.

But Donald Trump isn't just a citizen. He is President and he set the example. Donald Trump has expressed a complete disdain and lack of concern for the health and welfare of others since this started. He has failed to lead in his actions, his words and his inept policy response.

He has shown time and time again that he is more concerned about the stock market and his reelection that the health and welfare of the American people.

He and his staff knew people who had been in close contact with the President were infected. Yet, he and they just continued on. They ignored every recommendation of every credible resource. No one wore masks. Trump kept interacting with people---without a mask and without any sense of social distancing.

How many people are now infected as a direct result of this President's incompetency and disregard for the safety of those he took an oath to protect?? How many others will become sick from secondary or tertiary infections? All because of Trump's ego.

There are lots of reasons to give Donald Trump the boot, to send him packing. His failures as a leader are significant and numerous. His personal qualities are absent. COVID has exposed them all. We will likely cross 210,000 dead today. He isn't responsible for the disease. He IS responsible for his pathetic response and non-existent policies.

He has got to go.

You go on and remain in your basement all panicked about catching this virus. Trump is showing that this virus isn't the boogeyman people like you are making it out to be. Chris Christie, who is obese and has asthma, has it and I bet he survives it. The impact of the virus was so low that he was able to drive himself to the hospital. I'm tired of being told, by fear mongers like you, to be afraid of this virus. Regardless of who gets this virus, I am going to continue on with my life. I will respect those who are higher risk and wear a mask and keep my distance. That would mean wearing masks in grocery stores and the like. But, I will not run around wearing a mask outdoors, in my car, or anywhere that doesn't require one.

What happened to Trump doesn't change anything for me.

Your entire post is a study in bullshit. In your rambling rhetoric filled diatribe, you did not make one single coherent argument. That had to be intentional, because most people, even when they're blathering about whatever, will most often accidentally make a point. You, however, managed to dodge that bullet with efficiency and finesse.

We will likely cross 210,000 dead today.

From Covid or WITH Covid - because according to the CDC less than 10,000 have died FROM Covid

By United States Code this does not even RATE as a MAJOR Disaster

As used in this chapter—

(1) Emergency.— “Emergency” means any occasion or instance for which, in the determination of the President, Federal assistance is needed to supplement State and local efforts and capabilities to save lives and to protect property and public health and safety, or to lessen or avert the threat of a catastrophe in any part of the United States.

(2) Major disaster.— “Major disaster” means any natural catastrophe (including any hurricane, tornado, storm, high water, winddriven water, tidal wave, tsunami, earthquake, volcanic eruption, landslide, mudslide, snowstorm, or drought), or, regardless of cause, any fire, flood, or explosion, in any part of the United States, which in the determination of the President causes damage of sufficient severity and magnitude to warrant major disaster assistance under this chapter to supplement the efforts and available resources of States, local governments, and disaster relief organizations in alleviating the damage, loss, hardship, or suffering caused thereby.

(3) “United States” means the fifty States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

(4) “State” means any State of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

(5) “Governor” means the chief executive of any State.

(6) Indian tribal government.— The term “Indian tribal government” means the governing body of any Indian or Alaska Native tribe, band, nation, pueblo, village, or community that the Secretary of the Interior acknowledges to exist as an Indian tribe under the Federally Recognized Indian Tribe List Act of 1994 (25 U.S.C. 479a et seq.).[1]

He IS responsible for his pathetic response and non-existent policies.

Explain Then, What FEDERAL AUTHORITY Trump has to order states about mandating the wearing of Masks or Shuttering Bushiness

You rant and rave about Trumps lack of response .... but

  1. There is NO Federal Authority
  2. States are LOSING Court Battles about Their Authority and Constitutional Violations
  3. Had Trump attempted to impliment some ' national policy ' you and the Democrats would suddenly discovered States Rights and Federalism and you would have run to the nearest frieldly court and SUED to block any such policy or Executive Order as a Presidential Overreach and accused Trump of being a Fascist Dictator for violating the 10th Amendment

You are a Lying Disingenuous Individual ... try to sell your faux outrage elsewhere, you just hate Trump no matter what

Trump could cure Cancer tomorrow and you would accuse him of putting Cancer Researchers out of work.
