I was a lot closer to him and set up for a great shot when he got spooked and ran about 75 yard away. He did stop and pose for a couple shots but a little far away.

Fantastic velvet on that little buck...I have piebalds in my neihborhood--havent caught too many decent shots though......have to work on that!

Great sunsets too--love the siloughett(?sp?) of the trees---?tripod?

Thats gonna be a good deer.... the body on that buck is thick, if he gets bigger in the rut, I'd arrow him...

Wow you are talented. Perfectly clear photo's - I have a few young females around here. They walk down the hill and drink out of our fountain.

Early in the year i thought i saw a piebald deer two nights in a row but haven't seen it since. There is was young fawn with the group but mom keeps it close so i haven't been able to get it yet.

For the sunset i didn't use the tripod because It was pretty early (bright) but i was resting the camera on the deck rail. The sky had awesome color and getting the exposer set for the sky has the tree's and field dark. I was surprised they turned out so well. You know the saying "i would rather be lucky then good anyday".
