Well, MrX, I have 3 favorites...
8241344.jpg
I am drawn to the side-lighting and how it enhances the building's frame.

I like most of the elements of this one, and its composition... but I would totally get rid of the bridge, ideally.

I like leaf studies, and the shimmering water and DoF are nice factors as well.

Overall, I appreciate that you use different crops and toning (B&W and sepia)... and it's always nice to have a good new eye around the forum.

Kain99, Those are some very nice shots...you must have quite the view in your backyard!

Phyxius, thank you..I enjoyed your shots as well. The sunset at JPP was pretty stunning, I may have to try to get by there one evening to check it out.

hvp, thank you..I appreciate the critique as well as the kind words :)

01-07-2008 12:34 PM Got it for Xmas and took shots of osprey that leave here September/October? Explain that please...

Not sure who left this, but im not the one who said they received the camera for Christmas, I bought mine in June :)

Ive attached a screen shot of the EXIF data from the original JPEG conversion (I shoot in RAW) from the the osprey on the channel marker photo. Save that pic to y our computer, then go to where you saved it, right click then choose properties, click the summary tab, then advanced. This will display the EXIF data and im sure you'll notice that they match what I attached...except for the file name and size as it was resized and tinypic.com changes the file names so there are no dups. Any other questions please feel free to ask :howdy:

Jameo, you have a gift! Your pictures are breathtaking! The one of the bridge supports where they are reflecting into the water is awesome! Teach ME!!!

Thank you!! :blushing: I wish I could teach or even some what explain to others to see what I see, but I can't. Things just jump out at me. Sometimes the shots works, sometimes it doesn't

I'll ask her about it when I see her tonight. I know the floor is pretty rotten and she knows where to walk and not to. I believe the old store is listed in the Maryland Historical Building list. Doesn't mean a whole lot other than they researched the history of the building. (BTW so is the "Hole")
