of the misuse of our courts against the government protecting the country from terrorism.

Terrorist Tort Travesty - WSJ.com

FTA: 'The Padilla case shows that qualified immunity is not enough. Even though Supreme Court precedent clearly permitted Padilla's detention, he and his academic supporters can still file harassing lawsuits that promise high attorneys' fees. The legal system should not be used as a bludgeon against individuals targeted by political activists to impose policy preferences they have failed to implement via the ballot box.'

From FDR to the present, socialists have tried to use the courts to enact social change they cannot get legislated. To most clear thinking people, this would indicate the socialist's really don't believe in a government for the people 'by' the people rather a government of the people by socialists because 'we know best'. How contemptible.

Mr. Yoo, who wrote this story is about to become the victim of the courts.

It isnt about Padilla any longer its about attorneys fees in the ten of thousands of dollars.
Padilla hasnt the money. His attorney's who took the case have run up fees in the tens of thousands of dollars and want to get paid. So they sue the people who they lost the case to. Their suit for payment should be thrown from court, laughed at, they took on a loser and lost. Now they want to be paid for that loss?

Padilla is in jail , he cant pay them. so they sue the people who they lost to.
This isnt about justice , this is about slimy attorneys getting their pound of flesh from someone, anyone.
