A good place to pay attention...

We now have 3 lanes coming from Dares Beach Road East to south to Rt. 4. Bad intersection gets worse.
Gotta make way for the Taj Mahal of governmental centers, high density, "affordable low cost housing, sniker-sniker", and some unneeded retail corporate businesses paying at just minimum wages, don cha know? Hell, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread happening right here in Calvert County. Promoted from within the highest levels in government and the benefiting developers. Why can't you just sacrifice, just a teensy weensy bit of a little inconvenience for the greater good? Why are you being so selfish? Geez. Some people. SMH.

I guess that means I'll be hearing about Dares Beach Rd more on the "Southern Maryland Traffic Report" from the Rocket/Bay.

How's it any different than literally any other intersection with a traffic light?
If they mark it like the do other intersections they like to leave at least one lane for ?

Take FDR at Rt 4 - heading north. You have a left turn lane, a left turn / straight lane and an unmarked lane (?)
One can safely assume that the unmarked right most lane is for right turns.
But it is also aligned with the right most lane on the other side of Rt 4. So is it a straight thru lane as well?
No a mark on the road or a sign over head. People in the middle lane seem to be confused if someone in the right lane goes straight across.

In this case I'm not faulty the drivers, merely an example of how SHA doesn't always make it clear.

Dares Beach Road has lane markings and signs above each lane. 2 left turn lanes and 1 left turn/straight lane
