We adopted Miss Teia on 2 June 2009 as a 12 year old house feral. Her previous people had rescued her from an abuser who was trapping feral cats and hurting them. He had dislocated both of her shoulders and was about to kick her into a dumpster when George (the rescuer) intervened. He punched the teen in the face and took the cat to his vet. Teia was fully fixed up, including spay, shots and worming. George and his wife convinced the kid's parents he needed professional help, which they did get him to.

They had an extra room in their house and basically made a den for her. Teia's physical needs were seen to, but she was never socialized.

This was 31 October 2010, the 1st time she let me pick her up.
