Back home in New England, Eastern Coyotes started moving back into the region in the mid-40's.
Up there, we call them Coydogs, but the genetics are kind of complicated.
DNA analysis has shown they are mostly Plains Coyote in ancestry with some Wolf and a bit of Domestic Dog.
