Or have we all gotten numb to these kinds of things..............

I'm not entering a debate, but I think it is pretty friggin lousy that she is willing to off two to keep one and she is selfish.

 What struck me was, outside the horrific decision she was about to make, (or made, as it appears)I had never heard of a situation like this before!

Completely unimaginable for me.

I personally am pro-choice, but there is no excuse for her actions. It is disgusting.

It's actually quite common.:ohwell: Especially in fertility treatment patients. I think it is awful.

With the use of fertility drugs, there are cases were a woman gets pregnant with a ridiculous number of fetuses. In cases like that, it is quite common for the doctor to remove some of them. I'm not talking triplets, I'm talking 7,10,15 or more. They didn't come right out and say it, but this case seems to be a naturally occuring set of triplets. I doubt this woman was looking to be a mother.

 Oh well, I guess I learn something new everyday.

Quite common, eh? I'm not being sarcastic, I suppose I just never heard of it before.

The author of this article, if you'll notice is Neil Cavuto from Fox News, and apparently he hadn't either. In fact, it appalls him that although there are probably thousands of couples in America that cannot have children, and who'd give their right arm for a child to raise as one of their own, 2 babies are dead, with no future.

Maybe it's personal with him.

Rush read it on...um Wednesday.

He had a hard time getting through the story of how the woman would have to give up her studio appartment, change her shopping habits, and alter her career...He finished without comment.....but, the tone of utter sadness was in his voice.
Perhaps I got a hint of him missing the opportunity to raise a child of his own. He's past his prime...and now he regrets some of his choices.

Selective reduction...sounds like a military term for sorting targets to hit.

 Sheesh, that last statement cuts it real close to the bone, but it's accurate.

I too got the impression that he was very saddened by the the matter-of-factness of it all, the mother's glib choice and the doctor's willingness to accomodate the patient, etc.

I can imagine him looking into the TV camera and shaking his head from side to side very slowly.

Are we getting to be that cold of a society? I wonder.........

It's so bizarre and the way it was revealed to the author, I don't believe it.

I'm decidedly pro-abortion and I'm also thankful that I've never done it. Shoot, I hit a dog once and STILL haven't gotten over it. Those are some hard-hearted women who can kill their own infants.

Hey...Maybe there's something here for the defense of all these guys off'ing their wives 'cause they've become "inconvenient".
