ARCA. It's a feeder series that uses the old Cup cars. Gibbs, Roush, Hendrick, Childress, Harvick, Toyota Racing Development and Petty all use ARCA for developing talent.

The most recognizable name in the illustrious list of drivers to come out of ARCA is Benny Parsons. Kyle Petty and Ken Schrader also came out of ARCA.

Every driver who now enters NASCAR Nationwide, Camping World Truck Series (Restrictor plate races only) or Cup has to compete in at least 1 speedway and 1 superspeedway ARCA race to be approved to race in NASCAR.

I watch every ARCA race that is televised, and go to several each year -- the racing is epic. If you think Spitcup is long and boring at times, you'll love ARCA. Epic racing.
