I heard a couple of interesting things on Fox & Friends this morning. First, the cease fire that was negotiated in Iraq stipulates that the bad guys who are Iraqis get to keep their weapons and return to their homes. The bad guys who are foreigners get to keep their weapons but they have to go home. What A-Hole negotiated this POS??? We let the bad guys get away, WITH their weapons, on the promise that they'll behave themselves and not cause any more trouble. Are we pathetic or what!
Then I hear that a NYC cop developed a case that will allow the Brits to extradite a trouble-making Muslim cleric for trial in a capital crime that could get him the death penalty. The Brits have been trying to find a way to arrest or deport this guy for a long time due to the unrest he causes... but they won't extradite to any country that would kill him. So, even though the US extradition papers state that he might receive the death penalty if convicted, they also state that he won't be killed even if he gets the death penalty!!!
So much for getting tough with terrorists.
