Abu Ghraib Torture...Again?

So there was outrage in the Arab world about how some of the troops treated the prisoners at Abu Ghraib. I wonder what they think of this:

There seem to be many sects of Islam.
When they arent fighting us, they are fighting each other.

The Sunni, Shia, Baathists, Kurds. All islamics all pretty much the same. They cant stand each other . Its payback time. Now our presence there may slow them down a bit, if we cut and run as Hanoi John and his ilk want done , what is happening in Abu Gharib now wil look like a boy scout picnic.

When Hanoi John and Jane Fonda and the peace protesters talked us out of Viet Nam about a million people died as a result. If we leave Iraq who knows how many will die or how far the killing will spread? Do the liberals care? personally: I doubt it.

How would you like to be a normal Iraqi during the Hussein regime, then have his dictatorship overthrown and have to listen to a bunch of foreigners who don't know anything about it say that life in Iraq was better under the tyrant?

I'll bet they're pissed as hell and I don't blame them. And I also don't blame them for wanting to inflict a little payback on the terrorists, many of whom are their former tormentors.

Does Rockefeller stands by his view, even if it means that Saddam Hussein could still be in power if the United States didn't invade?

"Yes. [Saddam] wasn't going to attack us. He would've been isolated there," Rockefeller said. "He would have been in control of that country but we wouldn't have depleted our resources preventing us from prosecuting a war on terror which is what this is all about."

So, in other words, it would have been better for millions of Iraqis to live in fear, and be tortured and murdered than to "deplete our resources" by putting a stop to it?
