Accident in Calvert ?

Has anyone heard of a car accident in Calvert County around 7:30pm this evening? One young lady driving with a small child? Do not know the exact location.

I had the speaker off for my Calvert Scanner. Don't listen to it much unless I am alerted to something on going.

There was a fatal accident on Friday morning at MD2 and Grover's Turn. That's about the only accident I heard about yesterday.

I was driving home around 12:30AM Saturday morning and there was an accident after Plum Point and before Armiger going North on Rt4. This had to be a fatal accident. The police blocked off Rt4 at Plum Point and there were flood lights and staging placed around the accident area. There was an investigation crew set up taking pictures of something in the median, but it didn't look like anything I could recognize. There was also a tan Ford SUV involved, facing south in the northbound lane....it was pretty banged up. Does anyone know what happened?

I'm not too familiar with the exact location, was this near a restaurant named "Surry Inn" (sp)? I know there was a motorcycle accident last night around 11:30 pm and they used that as the location it was near, the helicopter flew him/her out and called in the reconstruction team. There were two ambulances on the scene. Whichever ambulances were on the scene, they had to have ambulances cover their station. Sorry there was a lot of traffic on scanner, at the time this happened someone was robbed in North Beach and the person had a gun and they were pulling cops from the accident scene to the robbery. It was hard to make out from all the talking going on.

Yes, that must have been the one. The object in the median must have been the motorcycle...Wow!

There was another motorcycle accident last night in Calvert, not sure the location, was told by an EMS friend that it was a fatal. Yesterday was not a good day for Calvert. Prayers to all the families.
