accident in charlotte hall/mechanicsville

Not sure where it is, but the medivac just took off. Traffic is backed up on the sb side of route 5.

Just took backroads to get through Hughesville and Charlotte Hall. Traffic is still backed up. Must have been a bad accident ....

Not sure ... I turned off on Golden Beach Road. Was in traffic starting at the light at McKays. Red lights as far as I could see.

It was in Mechanicsville (I think that's what it's considered) right past route 6. Route 5 was shutdown beyond the signal, and state troopers had traffic turning right onto 236, Thompsons Corner Road.

We sat in traffic forever and it looked like a van had been t-boned.

I saw them loading the van - large commuter size, maroon/gray. It did look tboned and there was still traffic when I left Food Lion at 630. It took 25 minutes to get from Food Lion to rt 236 and by then the emergency crews were racing north on 5 for a new problem.

There was also a 10-50 with PD only in the area of Lighthouse Liquors SB lanes.

that was a different one... I saw that one on the way back to work and as i came home it was gone....

then as I was going to the second job.... ANOTHER one... and that had to have happened between 4:30-5:30pm

There were 3 or 4 yesterday evening - last night. My wife witnessed one @ Mechanicsville Chaptico Road around 1830-1845 time frame, Dude just swerved and plowed into one of the new poles for the traffic light there.

Maybe that was his way of protesting the new light? We almost got hit head on driving down rt 6 yesterday evening. We were behind a big box truck and he hit the brakes and swerved off the road and next thing I knew there was a black mustang right in front of us. Just barely missed him. He was passing a line of atleat 10-15 cars, Just got in the wrong lane and nailed the gas. Not sure if he is just fed up with the buds creek detour or what?
