Tell me about it! I was riding my bike south on 235 and saw all the cars stopped. :jameo: All I needed to do was turn onto Mattapany to get home...luckily the cops didn't mind me sneaking by. :yay:

Does anyone know who was involved? I saw the cars, and almost started crying -- that car was so torn up. I hope everyone is ok....

My son said it was some college kids in the car and they pulled out in front of the suburban. The suburban had a trailor? The ex kept telling my son there was NO TRAILOR! Damn she doesn't realize he is very observant. Hope everyone is okay.

I only saw the one greenish vehicle on my way out. But on my way back home, I finally did see the SUV with the trailor that had a lawn mower on it. I don't know who hit who but it wasn't pretty.

My son called me and told me about it. When he says it was really bad, it WAS really bad. Oh, he said it was really bad. I'll tell my son he can inform his mother she was wrong about the trailor. He likes doing that almost as much as I do!

It was three SMCM students who ran into the suburban. Two of three students were sent to PG and Baltimore Shock Trauma Centers and the other sent to St. Mary's Hospital. I hope they pull through okay...:huggy:

What kind of accident was it? T-bone?

My son said they were pretty much T-boned by the suburban. The kids pulled out onto north bound 235 and the suburban was south bound 235.

Engine 32 was in the area doing driver's training and marked up. Engine 32 arrived on the scene at 1517 and started stabilizing the vehicle and confirmed two patients trapped in the vehicle. Engine 32 pulled a 1 3/4 line for safety during the extrication. Engine 141 and Engine 42 arrived and the crews went to work together to extricate the victims. Due to the patients injuries and the mechanism of the crash a helicopter was called to the scene. Engine 43 handled the landing zone, and as the patients were given proper assessment from the EMS crews it was determined that they had two patients that were priority 1 so a second trooper was called to the scene. Trooper 7 and Trooper 2 both medivaced the patients to area trauma centers and the other patients were transported to St. Mary's Hospital. The crews performed a complete roof removal along with all the doors and "B" Post. Extrication was completed at 1537 hours. The wagon crew operated on the scene for about an hour before returning to quarters. While the Volunteers operated at the scene back at the Station we held two additional crews for other responses in our area.
