According to the washington Post
Two people were killed and at least one other person was injured this morning in a five-car collision in Calvert County, police said.
The accident happened around 8 a.m. on Route 4 just north of Sixes Road (also called Route 506) and caused backups on Route 4 in both directions, said Det. Sgt. Mike Moore of the Calvert County Sheriff's Department.
He said the two fatalities were in one vehicle, but there was no immediate information on the cause of the crash or other details. One injured person was evacuated by medical helicopter to a hospital, and others may have been treated and released at the scene, he said.
The accident occurred south of Prince Frederick in the southern Maryland county, Moore said.

As of 1:00ish - Route 4 was still being detoured at 231. I don't know all of the details, but wanted to prepare those of you who may be coming home that way to have ample opportunity to look ahead.

APRIL 17 - It brings deep sadness, that the the Huntingtown VFD regretfully announces the passing of one of our own members. Natala Lowery, 25 years old, joined Huntingtown approximately 6 months ago. During this time span, she took on FireFighter I (at Huntingtown VFD) and EMT-B training.
Unfortunately, this morning, Natala was driving a vehicle owned by the private ambulance service she was employed by. At approximately 0730 hours, the vehicle she was driving was involved in a serious accident at Route
