ACCIDENTS KEEP PILING UP

SHA would have nothing to approve if the county hasn't sought the change to state law to allow them
These only happen of the county government seeks them. And the Sheriff goes along because he will most likely see most of not all of the revenue.

What new lights? I don't think they would add a light just for RLCs. And those are a harder sell since you can't wait about saving the children like you can with speed cameras.
Yeah, check out 235 and 4 when you get a chance. They are still covered at the moment. I think they might be going in to address the added congestion as a result of the anticipated build up on the corner of 235 close to Rt. 4. The entire corner is being cleared out now.

Oh, you mean a new style of lights.

Oh, I didn't know that. They need to update all of of the lights. The left turn to Walmart listed about three seconds until it turned red again.
I'll check this morning if I go. I think a lot of these turn signals have peak and off peak values. Shorter on peak hours to maximize flow. Which one, the southern one?

I was stuck in that loop the other day, and it was around 2:15/2:30-ish (so before true rush-hour) trying to turn left between Walmart and Donut Connection from 235 North and I sat through at least 4-5 light cycles. As soon as we'd get a green left arrow, it'd be yellow within 1.5 cars. It was infuriating and traffic was just barely heavy enough going north bound I couldn't get out of that turn late to say **** it. I was seriously stuck there for over 10 minutes.

I think some of these have those optical sensors. Detects no movement, goes to red. The one at 235 and Buck Hewitt 2 secs or it's long enough to let the whole turn lane thru.

Driving up US 36 to Estes Park the other day, the road is lined with speed cameras. One road you keep your eye on, not the speedometer.
Surprised someone hasn't accidentally taken the camera offline. Lol

This poor camera accidentally got itself the path of a fire.

I've seen this if the first car in line doesn't move out right away. Any delay seems to register as no traffic and a fast light.
