Anyone have one? Opinions? I'm in the market for a new car in the coming months. I've always thought these were cute and they're popular which is always a good sign of reliability. The price is decent. I just saw a Type S when I ran out for lunch and I LOVE that model. I see so many of them on the road I figure I'll probably get a good amount of feedback.

We have an 09 SH-AWD Tech and love it...I just wish I was allowed to drive it...lol

Test drove G37x, 335xi, ES 350, and A4, the Acura is by far most bang for your buck....It handles great, the AWD in it is great. It has pretty decent power, I put a new intake on it so it sounds great.
The Tech features/stereo is amazing....I could go on and on....got it atChevy Chase Acura. Can't say enough great things about that place, it's worth the drive to get the level of service they provide.

Just my .02...I don't think you can go wrong with the choice.

Oh and my SIL has the 08 Type-S so if you have any 3rd gen questions I can try to answer those as well....they probably won't make a 4th generation Type S until the 2012s come out...

I just went to the Acura site and noticed they don't make the Type S currently. The SH AWD does look pretty damn nice too! AWD is a must on whatever I get. I wanted it with my current car but got impatient and have regretted it. I have an 04 Volvo S60 which I do have to say has been an awesome car and have considered a new one but I think I want a change. I'm trying to mix responsible and fun.

My thoughts exactly! I hated the interior on the Infinity....as well as the Beamer..not to mention you slap another 15K on the BMW for all of the features...

The AWD works well...it bites the road hard when you are getting on it in curves, in the rain, and I drove through Western Maryland in a snowstorm and it was amazing.....

As far as not having a Type S...the AWD is alot heavier but has more HP...The 2010 TLs offer a 6 speed manual transmission (not sure if you like that...some driver enthusiast won't have any other way..personally i'd rather do less work while driving..) and the 2011 will have a new 6 speed auto....

I've got an '02 Outback Limited(heated everything) and I drove every day when we had our snowstorms (boy needed Pokemon cards) and I'm constantly amazed at how well their AWD system works. For the most part you can't tell the difference between dry pavement and 6 inches of snow in the road.
It's even difficult to force a slide using the parking brake in a corner

The standard TL gets a 280-hp, 3.5-liter V-6, similar to the previous TL Type-S. SH-AWD versions get a power and displacement bump to 305 horsepower and 3.7 liters
