Adding URL to firewall or web-filter

Can somebody explain in plain English how to do this? My son needs to use a website for school but we keep getting an error message. The website's Support Page says the problem may be resolved if I do this but gives no directions on how to add it. TIA

I downloaded it and also saved it to a thumbdrive and still get the same error message. I contacted the Support Team and only response I got so far was asking which version (Network or Web-Enabled) I was trying to use. On the website, it said that adding the URL to the Firewall may solve the problem but I don't know how to do that.
