In Fell's Point. This is a really cool hotel! Right on the water, Broadway & Thames, in the thick of everything. Historic, with neat furnishings. Looks like your grandma's house if she had money and taste. Large rooms, bed seems comfy, separate sitting room.

We got the Sam Adams package, so it's $200 for two nights and there were 6 beers in an ice bucket waiting for us.

Highly recommended for a B'more getaway. :yay:

Never stayed there but spent a lot of time in Fell's Point. When hubby & I were first dating, he lived right down the road from there. We spent many weekends stumbling around town. Good times! :otter:

Didya hit Max's on Broadway??

Um, duh.

They had something called a Pink Killer on tap - grapefruit wheat. Sounds weird but it was good. Larry said blick, but it was interesting enough that I'd have had a second one if I wasn't beered out at that point.

Any self-respecting male would be obligated to respond as such. (Well, maybe a sip or two would be okay, but not more.)

It was crisp and refreshing and tasted like persimmon. Which I am not fond of. It was far better than the Teteley's pub ale I got which was a creamy, flat, bad teeth, bleak, rainy weather, weird accent, bloody sheep's bladder stuffed with foulness type English...pub brew. In other words, it's part of the reason we revolted from those people in the first place. :barf:
