I'm getting ready to start playing around with RAW images now that I know my camera inside out. I have ACR, but I'm wondering if Lightroom is better.

I'm getting ready to start playing around with RAW images now that I know my camera inside out. I have ACR, but I'm wondering if Lightroom is better.

Haven't used Lightroom, but according to some people who swear by it, most still use ACR first then final touch up in Lightroom.

I have never used Lightroom but many of the best photogs do! There workflow is most often Lightroom > CS3 > Final Image.

I use CS3 only and can tell you that it is a billion times better than the Canon interface to do raw editing and would have to assume that Lightroom is better than CS3 or why would they use it.
