My biggest complaint with cloud software is you need internet to run it. So if you're in a dead spot or unconnected for whatever reason....you're out of luck. I'm surprised this is the way they're all going. I get them wanting regular payments instead of people like me who are still running a 20 year old copy of Photoshop, but it's inconvenient for me to run, say, Quickbooks online and I'm ripe to ditch them for another product. I find it hard to believe I'm the only one.
But it's just another example of these soulless corporations wanting the quick bucks, churn and burn.
