My biggest complaint with cloud software is you need internet to run it. So if you're in a dead spot or unconnected for whatever reason....you're out of luck. I'm surprised this is the way they're all going. I get them wanting regular payments instead of people like me who are still running a 20 year old copy of Photoshop, but it's inconvenient for me to run, say, Quickbooks online and I'm ripe to ditch them for another product. I find it hard to believe I'm the only one.

Creative Suite 2 runs just fine ..... in Windows 10
frankly I do most basic image editing with irfanview
as a 23 yr IT Employee ... 90% of the office work can be done with PC's Windows 98 Running Office 97
I c an be generous and say Win 2k and Office 2k
there is NO reason for office computers to me connected to the internet
Most users I'd say 90% do not user more that 10% of the features of M$ Office ...
the other 10% of users are finance dept with these huge excel spreadsheets with 100's of pages and tabs over 65k rows where they need the 64bit version of Excel
I have very little in "The Cloud," much prefer to have a lot of hard drive and otherread/write storage at home.
