Hi!! :howdy:

HappyCats Feline Adoption group would like to invite everyone out tomorrow to the Hughesville Bargain Barn for our weekly Feline Adoption Fair.

HappyCats is a private feline adoption group that rescues cats and kittens from the shelter. All of our kitties are fostered in private homes and are current on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, free of parasites (internal and external), tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and are microchipped. We have a permanent spot in the White Building on the lower level and we hold cat adoptions every Saturday from 10 - 3.

Come check out our new kitty jungle gym all decked out with our pink and purple cat tree!!

Can't adopt a kitty? No problem, we accept donations and have handsewn kitty kushions, homemade cat nip toys and featherwands for sale.

We have some really great kitties that are ready to find their forever homes! Won't you come see them tomorrow?

We just adopted a beautiful little boy cat from Happy Cats today! I would take a pic if I could find him! I saw a grey streak head for under my bed earlier, wonder if thats where he is?

That's great!! :yay: What did you name him? Or does he already have a name when you adopted him? I wish you the best of luck! The cat should come out when he feels its time to. Just make sure its his time to come out from hiding not yours. :yay: Also, I'd put a litter box, water and food nearby so he can gradually make his way out of his hiding place and quickly run back. Eventually, he should come around.

Well, first he is 4 months old and it actually makes 5! :faint: I am taking care of my girlfriends cat until she gets settled in NC. Once she is settled and things are good then she is coming back for the cat and her bird! Until then I have a full house!! :jameo: :lmao:

I actually love it and would run my own animal rescue if I could. :howdy:

Bless your heart  He is beautiful! I wish I could have one but my landlord despises animals. :frown: The next place I live will be animal friendly. I can't wait!

He's so handsome! I've had my adopted kitty for about a month now, and after weeks of being sick, underweight, and having ringworm (almost over the hump on that one), he's doing awesome! I was never a cat person before, but I can see how someone could end up with five of them.

Petco! They have some really cute ones! :yay:
I've been going back and forth trying to decide if we should put a collar on our kitty. He's an inside cat, but he's always trying to slip out into the backyard, and I was informed last year that our local shelter (I live in NC) does not scan for microchips. :ohwell:

I put his microchip tag on his collar, so if they can't scan they can at least call the number and give them his ID number. All of my cats are indoor only kitties and they all have their rabies and name and phone number tags on. I just want to be sure that if they ever do slip out that they will be returned. I think collars are a good idea even for indoor pets. Just in case. :huggy:
