I know there are quite a few different soccer leagues in the SOMD area, each with different requirements.

Northern Soccer League of St Marys has adult coed teams that play Friday nights at 5th District Park (Lettie Dent) in Mechcanicsville. Registration for the fall season starts end of this month.

They have a competitive and a rec league that both play on Friday nights during the spring and fall seasons.
