Airport shuttles or rentals?

Any suggestions on getting from Dulles to Reagan National/BWI? Looks like there are shuttles available but are those the best options?

To Reagan you can take a short bus ride to the Metro Silver Line.

I used bookinglane.com last time I needed a ride from BWI and was surprised how easy it was to book ahead and compare prices. They had both shuttles and cars available, and I liked seeing all the options in one place instead of hunting around different sites. Made the whole thing less stressful.
