All non-essential businesses in Maryland will close Monday, March 23 rd, at 17:00pm.

There are so many loopholes and so much ambiguous terminology in those guidelines that I don't see many businesses closing unless they are in a clearly defined category that is specifically listed.

I predict by the end of the week we will be under "shelter in place" because no one will heed these guidelines.

Hogan did this as a retaliation as described within the announcement for people living their everyday lives, and not for a virus. Don't say he didn't because he did. Look at his tone and the "I'm better than you". He should be ashamed as he just cost people their jobs. All businesses are essential. People work, get paid, provide for their family, and purchase goods. This is an abuse of power and was implemented out of his pride.

Businesses need to stand up and remain open. Hogan can't order a shelter in place because "people are not listening to me". It's time to stand up and fight.

All of this is a con job. Designed, implemented, and carried out to destroy the U.S. economy by the Deep State. If this still is going on come election time, mark my words. If a socialist democrat wins, this will all of a sudden "magically" disappear.

They're looking for 100% compliance, which will never happen. There has never been 100% compliance of any regulation among any population ever throughout history.

I want to make sure everyone understands:

Maryland has a population of 6 million people.
288 have tested positive for the virus.
3 people have died.

The US has a population of 327 million.
There are 372,000 confirmed coronavirus cases.
101,000 of them have recovered.
16,000 have died.

Decide for yourself if the cure is worse than the disease.

I agree with all of that but nobody's listening. They fear this mythical virus so much that they're blind to what our government is doing to us.

Good thing the fire departments weren't to be closed, then.
Volunteer department in PG that my wife volunteers at just had a case of Corona, and is closed.
SG, you ever heard of "Raw Food"? No heating involved, and apparently good for you!

After reading the supplemental COVID-5 from Annapolis and it seems that everything is essential. New home construction, car dealerships (sales), auto parts stores and so on. How again is this supposed to work? Seems that it just a recruiting tool for the brown shirts.

My new boss says we're essential until someone stops by and tells us we're not. We may park inside the yard fence to be less conspicuous. I'm not venturing into any stores except Dash In for breakfast and a quick stop in somewhere for body wash. I really thought I had another bottle in the linen closet. :ohwell:

Agree. I though we'd be shutdown, but upon closer reading I think we can make a good argument that we are essential.
