Anyone else here have a cat that is completely allergic to Flea Meds? I now have to bath my kitty with Dawn. So far, she seems to like it but I was just wondering if anybody else has any suggestions. Thanks!

Started with Seargants from grocery store as I have never had the problem with any other pets. Made her a little ill. Then went to the Vet and got their name brand. She could barely walk the next morning so I had to take her back for the allergic reaction. Not really wanting to try any other topical treatment any more.

wow... i can see seargants (as it absorbs way different than the other and the ingredients are different as well)
as for the past... you are very lucky you have never had an issue

as far as from the vet... was it Frontline, advantage

or this may be your best bet..... MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT KIND

I've never used Seargants, but from what I've read online and I think on here, it's bad stuff for cats or dogs. My vet told me a few weeks ago that even the Pet Armor is no good any more because the fleas have built up an immunity. They have something new I'll be trying soon.

It wasn't Frontline or Advantage. It was a new kind that she uses. I had never heard of it before. I will look into this natural stuff.
